LIVE JOYFULLY
ABOUT CHARLOTTE
I am here to provide a safe space of healing to all women. Taking a yoga class with me is about more than physical movement. My focus and style of teaching is through wellness of the person as a whole. I bring forward lessons from my own healing, knowledge of health and nutrition from working as a nurse and nutritionist. I include in depth study of social and lifestyle elements of wellness that meet with movement and philosophical aspects of yoga teaching and the strength and agility of aerial silks. This is a welcoming space where living joyfully is the intention.
Yoga gave me a voice, a community, a place of belonging, interconnection and a purpose. I began yoga to heal my body and mind from a period of acute stress, self harm, social anxiety and suicidal thoughts. There are women out there who are suffering in silence just as I was, from the hands, words and manipulation of others or maybe suffering from their own bodies through the experience of being a woman. I was lucky to have found teachers to guide me through this and now I am becoming a guide myself.
